International Student Centre (ISC) has successfully organized a farewell party for mobility students last Friday (24th May 2019) at The Club Bukit Utama, Petaling Jaya.
The event called Iftar & Farewell 2019 is meant to bid their goodbyes upon completing their exchange program at University of Malaya after a semester/year.
ISC has purposely organized the dinner during the holy month of Ramadhan as part of the Internationalization at Home initiative by giving the fasting experience to the mobility students.
This somehow has encouraged many of the non-muslim mobility students to try fasting for a day and for some others, they might have even learned about the religion, Islam.
Attended at the event was ISC Director, Madam Salmi Marsita Shaari to give her last few words before the students depart to their home university.
