How To Apply

  1. Explore your options: Start by researching the mobility programmes on GMC’s website or through your SISWAMAIL and find one that aligns with your academic and personal goals. Reach out to Mr. Marzuqi at ahmad.marzuqi@um.edu.my if you have any questions.

  2. Check your eligibility: Refer to each programme's information page or website for eligibility criteria.

  3. Consider your study plan: Before applying, please take some time to think about how the programme fits into your study plan. Check the programme dates carefully, especially to see whether they fall during revision week or your final examination period. You should also consider your internship schedule and make sure the programme does not clash with your internship.

  4. Apply for the programme: There are two ways to apply for the programme - Direct Application or Nomination by UM.
Direct Application: This option means that you apply directly to the host university. The application may be submitted via email, through their website, or using a Google Form, depending on the method provided by the host university.
Nomination by UM: For this option, you are required to submit your application to GMC. We will then review the applications and select students to be nominated to the host university.

  5. Get approval: Once you are accepted into the programme, all UM students who plan to participate in overseas mobility programmes must obtain approval through UM Globe.

  6. Prepare the necessary documents and preparations:
    - Submit your offer letter to GMC through this Google Form
    - Kindly ensure that you obtain valid travel insurance prior to the programme.
    - Students are required to find out whether they are required to acquire a Visa to the host country.
    - Download the Confirmation of Participation Form here and kindly request the host coordinator to sign their signature and official stamp.
    - Register your travel data to the Ministry of Higher Education at MyData@EducationMalaysia4U

Safe travels!: Enjoy your time abroad and you may contact us if you encounter any problems!
