Program Overview

Mobility Attachment Program is a program whereby students from external institutions attach with Universiti Malaya for a maximum duration up to 12 months. Students will be supervised by an appointed UM Lecturer(s) /Professor(s) during the attachment duration.

There are two categories which include:

  1. Non-Graduating Research: Focus on a short-term research project.
  2. Internship: Focus on a short-term training program at a specific faculty.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Enrolled as an active student (Undergraudate/Postgraduate) at home university
  • Have met the requirements set by the respective faculties for the attachment program
  • Have good English proficiency in speaking and writing.

APPLICATION DURATIONS
The application window is available throughout the year.

Kindly note that each application will require at least 4 weeks to complete the processing before the applicant can receive the offer letter to attend the Mobility Attachment Program at UM.

The administration fee is a mandatory fee for all students who apply for Mobility Attachment Program.

Attachment/Bench Fee [Pay Before Arrival]
A bench fee is varied by the type of attachment and your duration of attachment at the respective faculty.
