We are pleased to inform that Universiti Malaya will be orgasining the AUA Youth Forum (AUAYF) under the Asian Universities Alliance platform with the theme “Synergizing Regional Identity and the Future of Asian Civilization”.
The Asian Universities Alliance (AUA) is a university alliance comprising of 15 member institutions across Asia and Universiti Malaya is one and the only member from Malaysia.  The mission of AUA is to jointly address regional and global challenges, specifically related to higher education and economic, scientific, and technological development, by strengthening collaboration among member institutions.
This is not just a cultural immersion event, but also a deep reflection on the diversity of Asian cultures, regionalism, multiculturalism, and youth power in culture revitalization.  Those who are interested to take part in this forum please submit your application to Global Enrichment & Mobility Centre.

AUA Youth Forum 2022 ─ Synergizing Regional Identity and The Future of Asian Civilization

Online Sessions Daily from 14:00 to 18:00 MYT (GMT +8)

 

 

Expected Outcomes

1.      To create a platform for participants to enhance their intercultural understanding of languages, cultures, histories, and global issues of Asian civilization.

2.      To be able to exchange new ideas, perspectives, and views on the importance of collective Asian identity as a region in cultural, socio-economic and intellectual realization and reimagination of future prospects.

3.      To promote artistic or creative objects (e.g., visual art, film) as well as a range of Asian cultural traditions in different media.

4.      To discuss the challenges of revitalizing Asian civilization cultural diversity whilst promoting their commonalities.

Eligible Candidates

Undergraduate students of any field of study
