Home Nomination Application Module Selection Info Package FAQ

Module Restrictions:

  1. The university does not offer modules from the Faculty of Dentistry, Medicine and Pharmacy for mobility programmes.
  2. Undergraduate students are not eligible to take postgraduate modules, but Postgraduate students are allowed to take both undergraduate and postgraduate modules.

Helpful Tips:

  1. Academic workload per semester: Minimum of 6 credits and up to a maximum of 20 credits per semester.
  2. Module selection is based on the fundamentals of multidisciplinary whereby students can study modules from different faculties which covers Sciences, Arts & Social Science, Business, Language, Engineering, Computer Science, etcetera.
  3. Students are required to select modules they wish to take at UM as part of their online application. It is important for students to refer to the module offered listing and the module information before making a selection on the application portal.
  4. For your information, there will be a module approval stage whereby the respective faculties will review and approve the students' module selection based on the eligibility and availability of class capacity.
  5. Students are advised to select multiple modules up to a maximum of 10 modules during the application. This is to ensure students have sufficient modules approved (minimum 6 credits) by the faculty prior to the issuance of the offer letter.
  6. Students are not allowed to enroll for modules that have a clashing timetable. Students are allowed to add and drop modules during the registration week. Therefore students are advised to be prepared with alternative module options.
